Summary
Watercolour painting by Charles Paget Wade on board in card mount. Depicts a procession of numerous historical and military figures including Henry V and Henry VIII, Charles I, Cromwell and Wolsley. Galleon in background. The drawing also features Nulla and Charles. In the background, a castle labelled ‘The Tower’. Written on reverse in pencil: ‘C. Wade, 40 Hampstead Way, N.W. 11’.
