Summary
Watercolour painting - painting by Charles Paget Wade in watercolour on board of the Cloister Garden. Squared box hedges surrounding a circular, stone feature and a cherry tree in blossom. Two other similar trees in the garden. Stone house with prominent brick chimneys and cloister gallery in the background. In pencil on reverse 'Caldicote Court, The Cloister Garden INV. S.Kitts ap2 1913' and on white, typewritten label 'The Cloister Garden'.Used as illustration in 'The Spirit of the House' by Kate Murray 1915, between pages 209-209, entitled 'The Cloister Garden'.
