Summary
Hatchment, painted shield. One of six coats of arms on the wooden panelling above the fireplace in Seraphim, painted by Charles Paget Wade. Arms are a shield quartered showing: top left, a gold saltire on a black ground with four gold shells; top right, a silver chevron with three black stars on a red ground with three gold birds; bottom right, a silver, scalloped edge cross on a black ground with a silver shell; bottom left, a gold chevron on red ground with a silver band with five ermine tails above.All surmounted with a black armour helmet. (Faded) text in a scroll underneath.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
