Summary
Hatchment, painted shield. One of six coats of arms on the wooden panelling above the fireplace in Seraphim, painted by Charles Paget Wade. Arms are a quartered shield showing: top left, three black stars on a gold ground with with a gold bird on black ground above; top right, three gold eagles on black above two vertical gold bars on red ground; bottom right, six black bars on gold ground; bottom left, silver chevron with three black stars on red ground with three gold birds. All surmounted with a black armour helmet. Text in a (faded) scroll beneath.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
