Summary
Hatchment, painted shield. One of six coats of arms on the wooden panelling above the fireplace in Seraphim, painted by Charles Paget Wade. Shield quartered: top right, three elephant heads in black on gold ground with a red stripe; bottom right, a red lion rampant on a gold and black banded ground; bottom left,two red horizontal and one saw edged bars on gold; top left, five black bars on gold. All surmounted by a black armour helmet. Scroll with (faded) text underneath.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
