Summary
Hatchment, painted shield. One of six coats of arms on the wooden panelling above the fireplace in Seraphim, painted by Charles Paget Wade. Shield divided into quarters, top right divided diagonally with black birds on gold on top and vice versa below; top left black stars on gold chevron, on red ground with three gold birds; bottom right white cross with four gold stags on a red ground; bottom left black and gold quarters with a red saltire over. All surmounted by a stag and an armour helmet. Text in a scroll beneath (faded).

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
