Summary
Watercolour drawing - Watercolour by Charles Paget Wade on board. Depicts a cobbled courtyard or street with a shop sign 'Mistress Lavinia Vane, Her Shop'. Two girls looking into shop window, which displays sweets and toys. Shop door stands open. A girl and a boy standing by water pump, with toy horse and cart with doll. In bottom right a scroll containing ‘C.Wade inv.Aug. 1909’. Marked in pencil on the reverse 'The Little Sweet Shop' and 'C Wade Inv'.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
