Summary
Portrait miniature, watercolour painting on card, Edward Earle Bulwer (1807-1861), British (English) School, 1827. Rectangular. Head and shoulders portrait of a young man, turned to the right, gazing at the spectastor, wearing a blue coat, red-lined waistcoat, black neckcloth and white shirt frill. Grey eyes, fair curly hair, aged 21. Blue and pink background. In brown wooden frame, inscription on reverse reads 'Edward Earle Bulwer Aeg. 21 1827, son of Rev. Ed. Bulwer'.
