Summary
Glass painting - Wooden framed painting on glass entitled ‘Ceres Goddess of Plenty’. A woman in carriage with a cornucopia being drawn by two leopards. Large cracks in glass, corresponding to tears in picture beneath. Underneath written 'Painted by W Walker, 4 Fox and Knot Court, Cow Lane, W. Smithfield.' In notebook no.5, page 11 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Top Royal no.93 Glass picture 'Ceres in chariot drawn by leopards''
