Summary

Rectangular case, lid and body with rounded ends. Covered in brown material, possibly bark, embroidered with leaves and flowers, possibly in straw or fine raffia. Evident stitches around edges.

Provenance

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
