Summary
Bag; Saddlebag. Two brown leather bags with connecting piece to go over horse. Bags lined with stitched strips of white canvas material with blue lines. Each bag has an inner lid with multiple holes through which a horizontal strap can be threaded. Central metal loop on bag corresponds with two vertical slots in this inner lid. Lid lined with the canvas then an inner leather cover split in the middle with leather lacing. Three strap and buckle fastenings on each (some missing). Back of each bag has stitched, padded leather strips. Also, each bag has a horizontal pouch underneath with a buckle closure.
