Summary
Fishing float - Three floats; two made from porcupine quills; one very ornate float made from varnished goose feather quill with black engraved bands with pointed ivory ends (for ease of sighting at night). Used by Edward Earle Bulwer, born 1807. In casket 1331952. In notebook no.4, page 25 (1340945.4) Charles Wade refers to: 'Anns Room 73. Drawer of Fishing Flies made by Ed. Earle Bulwer (Born 1807). (Costume Room No.30) & two leather & parchment pocket cases for same.'
