Summary
Artist's colour box, made of wood with a brass handle and two brass catches. Subdivided inside into compartments which contain worn tubes of oil colour, some of which are made by Winsor and Newton but others 'specially made for Bassett-Lowke'. Inside is also an unmarked metal canister containing a liquid. This was formerly associated with the number SNO.MSS.675.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
