What would we do without tape at Christmas? The first transparent adhesive tape was invented in 1930 by American engineer, Richard Drew. In the United States it was called Scotch Tape and Sellotape in the United Kingdom.
Summary
Parcel tape - One of many items of artists materials, gold and silver paper etc.. Three reels of tape. Two are 'Dennison's gummed picture binding' one of which is smaller than the other. The third is a reel of Christmas parcel tape labelled 'HOLLY GUMSTRIP, will make your parcels Christmassy'.
