Summary

Cobbler's wooden right shoe last. Made in two parts - 1) heel, sole and toe; 2) upper. - now nailed together. Two pieces of damaged leather nailed to toe. Marked 'Alden 8' on ankle.

Provenance

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
