Summary
Meerschaum pipe bowl in the form of a bearded man wearing a three cornered hat. (Meerschaum German trans. Meer - 'sea', and Schaum - 'foam'in reference to its frothiness. Hydrated magnesium silicate, found mainly in Turkey, it resembles clay, and was commonly used for pipe bowls.)
