Summary
Beadle staff with a wooden shaft painted dark brown and roundel bearing the Royal Arms and inscription G 111R 1818. CPW item number 16 (Salamander) Illustrated. 'With the Royal Arms shown to date 1818, although the arms are in use up till 1800 only. The name of the parish has been erased. Traces of lettering show below the arms.'
