Summary
Drum (bass), of uncertain date. Charles Warming trade card inside. Painted body with design of a crown (not apparently English) and leaves in black on a red surface - evidence of this being painted over a previous design. Studded panel to one side. Rope bracing around body tightened with buff leather 'tugs'. In notebook no.2, page 5 (1340945.2) Charles Wade refers to: 'Admiral 6. A Large Painted Drum Coloured blue, a crown between two narrow vibands & two flags.' Includes sketch with dimensions.
