Summary
Drum (Bass - ), anonymous, probably English, c.1835. Marked 'SHARNFORD SAXHORN BAND', probably the first owners. Gaily painted. Decorated with trophy of instruments (which includes a keyed bugle but no saxhorn) and Dieu et Mon Droit. Sharnford is in Leicestershire and until recently had a brass band.
