Piccolo, Wrede (Hermann - ), London, c.1837-40. Marked with a symbol and 'H. Wrede, 35 Lower White Cross St Cripple Gate, London'. Also has dealer's mark 'Sold by W Howlett, Music Seller, Norwich'. Boxwood in three parts, with ivory mounts. One silver square key. In notebook no.4, page 10 (1340945.4) Charles Wade refers to: 'Music Room 114. Piccolo maple & ivory by Wrede.'
