Summary
Hand driven small bench lathe using flywheel effect. Brass label embossed 'VERSCHOYLE PATENT MANDREL'. Secured to work bench SNO.F.796 on legs. Attached to the right hand side of the lathe is a tailstock (SNO.M.1050), other attachements are found across the Workshop.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
