Summary

Cage; Birdcage - Cylindrical iron 'bird cage' but has a candle holder in centre and a solid top; it is CPW Item 475 (Cottage) illustrated - 'Candle protector used in stables, of wire'. Electrified during re-servicing project 2003-2004.

Provenance

CPW item 475 Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
