Summary
Japanese metal incense burner, tray suspended from the top of the Batsudan (shrine). A metal bowl on a horseshoe-shaped hanger. Cast decoration in relief around the edge of the bowl in the form of wheat husks and leaves and stamped on the base with Japanese characters. The burner has a high shaped hanger with moulded pierced decoration to both sides and birds and leaves in relief.
