Summary
Kukri knife with curved, tapering, steel blade set into a wooden handle with decorated band. Blade has two notches at hilt end of blade, and two grooves on each side. '19th century, Nepalese, carried by Gurka troops in the British Indian and Nepalese armies' (M. Jessup).

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
