Summary
Maté tea vessel, tea vessel. Silver mounted gold with handle to the side, in silver mount on three hooved legs. Two halves of silver forming the mount body, joined with silver connecting pieces, with engraved foliage decoration to the upper part. Circular reeded neck with cockerel. In notebook no.4, page 71 (1340945.4) Charles Wade refers to: 'Seraphim 411. Matte Tea Gourd mounted with silver & silver spoon.' Includes sketch with dimensions.
