Summary
Square lantern. Iron with glass panels. Four column-like details at each corner, topped by small 'vases' containing decorative metal flowers and with brass flowers hanging below. Pierced, curved top to body of lantern surmounted by crown finial. Beneath body of lantern is central funnel shape. In notebook no. 4, page 22 (1340945.4) Charles Wade refers to: 'Anns Room 55. Venetian Lantern of iron with angle turrets finished with pots of flowers, pierced curved top to lantern finished with gilded crown. fr. Little Compton Manor.'
