Crimping iron as a single item, having combined cast iron base and uprights supporting decorative brass top mounting. Turned wooden handle. Made by G.W. Ingram, Birmingham. (Royal coat of arms on brass plate). In notebook no.5, page 8 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Lace Room no.52 Crimping Machine smaller'.
