Summary
Armillary sphere in copper made by George Hart of Chipping Camden, c.1925. Painted red overall, with white symbols of the zodiac on diagonal band. White lettering reads: 'Tropic Cancri, Equator Coeli, Tropicus Caprino'. Later addition tassel in green and blue metallic thread hanging from base. Sphere itself hanging from a similar wound cord with two tassels at top.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
