Summary
Clock part; Clock face - Remains of a thirty hour German striking 'Black Forest' wall clock with alarm, circa 1820. Rose bud (or peony) flowers in red painted in arch top with a red, yellow and blue crocus in green foliage. Maroon and green foliage around dial corners with multi-coloured band encircling. Mechanism, alarm and hands all missing September 2009. Previously on display in Mizzen.
