Summary
Casket made in imitation of a curved top chest or trunk including diagonal strapwork with decorated bosses. Label inside reads 'Fenton and Sons'. Coffer covered with very worn blue velvet and thin metal strapping, handle missing from lid. Lined with embroidered silk. Previously associated with inventory number SNO.V.963.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
