Summary
Green painted wooden paint box with lid. Contains twenty-five phials of differing sizes of tempera colours, each with a paper label of its colour, each held in a circular hole in a board in the box. Handwritten Label inside lid reads 'To Charles Paget Wade from his affectionate Grannie. K.B. Spencer(Katherine Blanche) Feby.13th 1902'. CPW has added onto the label in black ink ‘Tempera Colours of Aug.E.L. Bulwer, c.1840’ (Augustine Earl Lloyd Bulwer, Charles Wade’s great grandfather).
