Summary
Red leather covered writing chest, studded with curved decoration and diamond shape on the lid. Writing slope in red leather with pale blue and white paper. Fitted drawers to interior. Tapered sides to lid. Lock, end handles and brass label (not inscribed). Previously in Charles Paget Wade's Bedroom in the Cottage, Griffon. Previouisly associated with inventory number SNO.F.989.
