Summary
Persian cabinet in sandalwood inlaid with ivory flowers with red and black score decoration. Brass handle on top. Corners set with brass protectors. Door on one side has decorative lock plate and three decorative hinges fixed with brass pins. It opens to reveal three drawers with gilt metal drop handles. Top drawer is double width. Fronts of drawers and inside of door are decorated with ivory flower-shaped inlay. Four brass feet – two differing pairs. One drawer contains a magazine article about this sort of cabinet.
