Summary
A red painted child's rocking commode wing chair, English, circa 1850. With shaped arms and back with pierced love heart, the box-seat concealing a commode under the hinged lid and loose cushion. In notebook no.5, page 39 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Seventh Heaven no.76 Child’s Winged Arm Chair painted 'Cart' red'. Includes a sketch with dimensions.
