Summary
Indian turned and carved wooden urn, wide rim to neck and wide foot beneath short stem. Central body painted yellow and red. Shoulder, rim, stem and foot painted black. Inlaid with silver and four carved ivory medallions to the shoulder, surmounted by carved ivory finial on the lid.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
