Summary
Embroidery frame, wooden frame with peg holes on flat vertical sides attached to 2 chamfered uprights by brass wing screws. Base material tacked to top and bottom of frame. Five pieces of silk sewn on base material which are marked out and part embroidered. All covered with thin mesh Small open box attached to centre of base. Early NT ref SNO/DC51. In notebook no.5, page 21 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Top Royal no. 651 Embroidery Frame of Mahogany' Includes sketch and dimensions.
