Summary

Wooden table lace bobbin winder complete with exception of band. Wheel of two pieces of thin overlapping wood, rivettted, hinged arms for skein holder. In notebook no.5, page 6 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Lace Room no. 31 Lace Bobin winder of mahogany' Includes sketch with dimensions.

Provenance

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
