Summary
A leather and brass studded trunk, English, circa 1840. Designed for carriage travel being arched in shape and with a groove to the underside as well as buckles at each end to secure it, with the initials P and T either side of a crown within a diamond pattern all in brass studs to the lid, carrying handles each end.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
