Summary
Original sepia portrait photograph (carte de visite) of Amy Blanche Wade (Charles Paget Wade's Mother), wearing a dark dress with fringing, and a hat, seated on a stone bench. She holds the lead to a collie-type dog lying on the ground. Printed beneath the photograph, 'W.R. Miller' and 'Gt. Yarmouth'. On reverse, handwritten in pencil 'A.B. Wade Dec. 1882' and printed 'Photographer and Artist W.R. Miller, 10years manager for Soyer & Bird, 182 King Street (over Nalls Library) Gt. Yarmouth. Negatives kept and can be enlarged or reduced to any size.' .
