Summary
Original sepia portrait photograph, cabinet print, of a young Charles Paget Wade, in a sailor's suit, standing on a staged rigging with a union flag. Printed below 'Gold Medalist 1889' then 'Lavender' and 'Bromley Kent'. On reverse, written in black ink, 'Charlie Wade' then printed: 'Gold Medalist 1889. E. Davey Lavender, Portrait and Equestrian Studio, Tweedy Buildings, Bromley, Kent, opposite Grand Entrance to Bromley Palace, No.', in pencil '9035G' then printed 'copyright'.
