Summary
Architectural drawing; Plan by Charles Paget Wade in ink and wash with gold leaf and mother-of-pearl inserts on double thickness grey sugar paper on heavy cartridge back. Floor plan of a large building around courtyards titled 'Almesbury Court' and 'Oct 07'. Purple wash. Gold illuminated letters to room annotations. mother-of-pearl insert at centre to represent pool. The plan has poems transcribed around it and a decorative compass point with the motto 'This is my home, no more I'll roam'. Charles Paget Wade has attached a paper tag marked 'Almesbury Court' to edge of paper for filing. Wade scheme - Architectural plan - Almesbury Court.
