This imaginary Cornish fishing village so impressed John Betjemen that he wrote an article for Architectural Review with a mock serious description of the village.
Summary
Glass photographic negative plate. Original glass plate envelope present. This photgraph depicts Charles Wade's model village, Wolf's Cove, particularly the harbour and quayside with moored boats. A horse and cart is also seen along the road at the top of the north wall of the pond.
