Summary
One of a pair of Portuguese majolica cabbage leaf design cups and saucers with serpent forming the handle. Stamped on underside of saucer. Cf the rest of the service SNO.C.56 and SNO.C.134.
Provenance
Purchased from P.S.Head, Sudbury, Suffolk, 23rd June 1945, for £4 10s. Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
