Summary
Sword; Tachi sword with long, curved steel blade (unable to examine possible signature). Brass ferrule at top with tsuba (inventoried separately) and brass spacer. Wooden handle covered with cream fish skin and blue textile webbing. Brass ferrule at one end of handle and brass kachira at top. Brass menukis in the form of two horses on both sides. Wooden, black lacquered scabbard with gold lacquer decoration. Two metal strap loops pierced with heart decoration and two further decorative brass fittings.
