Summary
Weapon pole - Wooden pole from a Japanese weapon, oval section, blade missing. Black painted. Brass ferrule pierced with heart decoration. Below this the top third is inlaid with square fragments of mother-of-pearl. There are two further bands of brass and another brass ferrule pierced with heart decoration. Below this is a gold painted, cord textured wooden grip. The end has a brass finial, then an iron ferrule with axe-shaped tip.
