Summary
Spear; Ryo-shinogi-yari. Japanese spear. Steel blade head with steel or copper ferrule pierced with heart decoration. Black painted wooden shaft with small inlaid mother-of-pearl fragments (in very poor condition). Two metal bands, below which is a ferrule pierced with heart shape decoration, above a brass cord textured grip. The end has a long blunt metal spike.
