Summary
Spear; Sankaku-yari. Japanese spear. Steel head on brass ferrule, with pierced decoration hearts. Long bamboo shaft, the upper part of which has three plain brass bands surrounded by red painted cord bands and a secondferrule at the base. Beneath this sits a brass cord textured grip. The end of the shaft has a blunt metal spike painted black.
