Summary
Indo-Persian circular Qajar shield, from Western Indian, made from painted leather with four metal studs. Studs connect to four rings on reverse with remains of leather handle covered in red textile.. Four painted panels seperated by foliage on convex front.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
