Summary
Japanese wooden fireman's helmet with black and red lacquer. Metal panels and studs with metal flower shaped finial at top with floral engraving around collar and hole through into helmet. Interior has two padded silk protection loops and blue woven cotton lining.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
