Summary
Court sword with decorative steel hilt, curved guard, and part triangular steel blade. Black leather scabbard with one steel nut. Point end missings. Contained in wooden glass fronted lockable display case with court swords SNO.A.18 and 19. Previously displayed over door to Stairs in Meridian. Paper label handwritten by Charles Paget Wade on reverse of case reads 'SWORDS (underlined) belonged to the Berners Family of Wolverstone Park near Ipswich.'
